The four programs that ask us the most questions have similar logic but different channels for consultation. If you understand the pattern of each one, you stop relying on rumors.<\/p>\n

Citizen's Income.<\/strong> It's a bimonthly transfer for households in poverty with children or dependents. Prosperidad Social initiates the cycle, notifies you by text message to your registered mobile phone, and the payment is made through the assigned channel (money order or bank account). VAT refund.<\/strong> It accompanies the Citizen's Income and is paid in the same cycles to households in extreme poverty. Eligibility can be checked on the official website using your identification number.<\/p>\n

Greater Colombia.<\/strong> This is a support program for seniors without pensions. It also operates on a cyclical basis and is typically delivered by money transfer operators with nationwide coverage in both urban and rural areas. Youth Rental.<\/strong> It is aimed at young students in technical, technological, or professional programs, and is contingent upon continued enrollment. It has its own schedule and consultation process.<\/p>\n

The process is short and free. First, go to the official Prosperidad Social website. Second, find the section for the program that applies to you. The government never charges you for delivering a subsidy. No official asks you for a top-up, your app password, or any upfront payment to "unlock" the money.<\/p>\n
